My first aerial

OK. This was the most fun that I've had with my clothes on. I was at lunch this afternoon when a guy I know asked me if I wanted to go up with him in his plane - a custom built military spotter plane. Without missing a beat, I told my wife and daughter that they were on their own for a while and headed out to the airport.

My first images were trial and error, but after a while I figured out that I was good with an f/3.2 at 1/5000 shutter speed and a 320 ISO. The following are a couple of the images that I liked plus a couple of pics of the plane that I took as a thank you for the pilot.

Location is Harbor Springs, Michigan.

PS - If you want to see my wife and daughter, check out the second image. Unbeknownst to me, they were lying on the beach next to the orange and black canoes in front of the yellow house.
